Quaint rocking chairs added a unique touch to the room. Rooms featured plenty of space for belongings, keeping everything organized.
The floor creaked above at times, a minor annoyance that might disrupt light sleepers. The bathroom could feel a bit cramped, and the impossibly thin mat at the entrance was a tripping hazard, though it hardly ruined the stay.

Couples thriving getaway
One evening, Laurence surprised us with a homemade cake to celebrate our anniversary and even provided a cheese platter with champagne. Each breakfast was a culinary delight, especially one morning when I enjoyed their famous French toast that was to die for.
It wasn't exactly budget-friendly but worth every penny.

Trellis House in Ogunquit surprised me in so many good ways. The Trellis Room had charming rocking chairs. Each morning began with a breakfast that was nothing short of gourmet. The Challah French Toast and perfectly cooked eggs were highlights. I appreciated the free coffee and tea service throughout the day, along with the sweet treats laid out in the common area every evening. Happy hour was a wonderful chance to mingle, complete with tasty snacks like spanakopita and a generous cheese platter. There were a couple of minor issues. The floor above creaked in the mornings, a bit distracting for someone like me trying to sleep in. The tight space around the bed was great. The hospitality from Lawrence, Glen, and their team. They genuinely cared about every detail, from check-in with sparkling wine to farewells that hit like a family send-off. I'll definitely be back despite those couple of small annoyances.
